Ever heard somebody that can bring you the lyrics of a conscience Hip-Hop artist and also have the bounce and appeal of a mainstream rap artist? Zikki has been doing Hip Hop/Rap for over a decade and has booked hundreds of performances all over the northwest region and across the country. As a solo act, his career has definitely took a turn for the better getting the attention from fans, fellow artist and various respected figures who want to see him succeed.

 

Thomas “Zikki” Carr, 26, was born in San Diego and raised in Washington State. He now represent the state capitol Olympia WA where he currently live. Zikki (pronounced ZEE KEY) is a breathe of fresh air compared to the current climate of the music industry. His music is filled with real life experiences, self-evaluation, high energy and actual lyricism while maintaining a fun and free spirited energy. He is a Hip Hop artist but his passion is to create quality music without being held down by any form of boundaries. In 2005 he actually started to take his music seriously so he began traveling and performing in places like New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, D.C, Maryland, Oregon and West Virginia in order to chase his big dreams. In 2012 Zikki met the owners of Nu Empire Music Group, an independent record label, at a show but it wasn’t until 2014 that he signed a contract with the company. With his label/team and the infectious movement called "Breathe Eazy” supporting him, Zikki has been establishing a respectable buzz within the Northwest region. Breathe Eazy is more like a lifestyle that’s been created. It’s for anyone no matter race, background, gender etc.…who does not conform to what people feel they should be as long as you’re happy with yourself. Breathe Eazy consist of college kids, business owners and your everyday working class individuals.

 

In April 2014 Zikki released Red Bull and Tattoos 1.5, the follow up to his prior release, with 500+ downloads on both projects as a local artist. Red Bull is associated with "High Energy" and "Tattoos" usually signify "meaning or importance" which actually describe his music hence the title Red Bull & Tattoos. He is currently working on his official EP that will be available on iTunes. He performed at the Kube 93, Seattle’s #1 Radio Station, 2014 Summer Jam and received an impressive response from the enormous crowd. He’s opened up for T Pain, YG, Dizzy Wright and Twisted Insane just to name a few. Zikki is a huge fan of Kendrick Lamar, SchoolBoy Q and the entire TDE roster as well as Big KRIT, J Cole and Eminem. Zikki is on the right track with his extreme talent, personality and unmatched work ethic.
